I know lot of people faces some trouble while installing and applying patches. Just follow these steps for the installation of game. Get ready to kick some asses!! ;-)
How to install Counter-Strike
======================
1. Install Counter-Strike 1.6 Full v7.
2. Apply the Counter-Strike 1.6 Patch v21 Full.
3. Install zbots(see below) - You only need this if you want to play with A.I.
How to play online (First Procedure)
============================
1. You need to google the ip servers of your country.
2. Now copy one ip address.
3. Open the game and go to find servers. There are multi tabs in there. Go to Favorities>Add new Server>
Paste IP there.
4. Click refresh for twice or thrice and server will be loaded.
How to play online with your friends (Second Procedure)
==========================================
1. Download this software : Gaming Arena Client
2. Install it in the windows directory.
3. Make a new id and Log in
4. Go to settings and select 1.6
5. There you will see two options. In execution setting select the file of CS launcher named as "hl.exe" in the folder where you have installed counter strike.
6. In second option just write "-nomaster -game cstrike" Without comma's.
